In 2019 we marked the fiftieth year of the PA division, and had the idea of producing a special model of the HS series that would feature even greater attention by Yamaha engineers. The HS series embodies the design philosophy on which Yamaha has long insisted for its studio monitors, and is now available as a special paired model that uses selected volume parts. The paired model series bears the designation of MP (Matched Pair), and MP stickers are affixed to the back of each unit. Manufactured at the same time, and with paired serial numbers, the “HS MP models” is offered by Yamaha as a special fiftieth anniversary commemorative model. We are confident that this special pair of stereo monitor speakers will play a valued role in your recording, mixing, and mastering work.
