The Drivemaster is based on the original Guv’nor but takes things a stage further with a new tone and drive network. Its three-band tone network acts as if adding an extra amp to your set-up, with real Marshall tone and overdrive. The iconic look has also been accurately recreated, right down to the finish of the control knobs and unique shape. There are plenty of reasons the first edition is so heavily sought after today. This reissue takes everything that made the original so special and replicates it for today’s player.

With MOSFET clipping diodes under the hood, the MXR Super Badass Dynamic O.D. growls with a smooth purr that can be pulled back for a nice, clean boost or cranked into full gear for vintage high-gain grind—all while preserving your rig's tonal dynamics. 

This pedal is powered by one 9-volt battery (accessible via battery door on bottom plate), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or an MXR BrickTM Series power supply.

Designed in conjunction with indie pedal builder Analog Man, the MXR Duke of Tone Overdrive is for players who want to add a touch of warmth and grit to their rig while allowing the natural tone and feel of their high-end gear to shine.

The 440 has all of the quack, squee, squonk, chicka, mwomp, and weeeooow, that you could ask for. It works equally well on guitar, bass, and keys. Use out for funky chordal work, simulated wah, or trippy drawn-out filter sweeps. While 440 is a faithful recreation of the vintage 440, the addition of the up/down toggle gives it a modern sonic twist.
