Custom made sleeves (hand protectors) for surface protection. The LEATHER SPECIALITIES company produces custom made sleeves to exactly the relevant instrument models. Each hand protector is sewn from 3 layers of material. Between a soft layer and the outer leather layer is a cellophane insert that protects the instrument against moisture. All leather sleeves for trombones come with an additional pencil holder.

The whole weight of the sax is transferred onto the two padded shoulder handles with assistance from the abdominal rest.
