For our 5A Light drumsticks we use especially light hickory wood.
This allows us to create a stick that is reminiscent of a maple
stick in terms of feel and lightness. An ideal compromise between
playing comfort and durability. Children and teenagers will also
find the 5A Light an alternative to the mostly rather heavy
hickory models.
