Steve Gadd has been playing an LP Mambo Cowbell since the 1970s for a dry and deep, funky sound. His signature cowbell is built with LP’s patented Vise-mount and memory lock that fits 3/8” to 1/2” diameter rods.

Gretsch "302" hoops are 3mm thick, double-flanged metal hoops. Their design is inspired by classic Gretsch hoops from the early 1950s. The 302 hoops produce a slightly more open and ambient sound than traditional die-cast Gretsch hoops. “Gretsch 302” Double Flange hoops are the standard build option on all Broadkaster and Brooklyn drum kits, wood snares, and Brooklyn metal snares.

The pitches of these MEINL Percussion Cowbells form a diatonic scale which makes it easy to use multiple bell combinations in any musical setting.

Using LP’s patented vice-clamp, the LP Clawhook Clamp mount holds cowbells firmly in place on most bass drum hoops.
