The included EMAD batter and reso heads put your bass drum's attack, focus, and sustain in your hands, allowing you to completely customize your sound. The EMAD clear bass batter features a single ply of 10mil film, with the ability to adjust sustain, thanks to two interchangeable damping rings. On the other end, the EMAD reso head boasts an offset 4" microphone port in a single ply of 10mil film, plus a foam damping ring around the port's external edge for greater control of your overtones. Both EMAD heads feature Level 360 technology.

Calftone drumheads bring a natural aesthetic and vintage sound to modern drum sets. EVANS Calftone bass heads are made using a 12mil Mylar base, blended with special materials, to create a synthetic calf skin, which embodies the classic warm, full, and rich tone of real calfskin. This bass head has a balanced attack, medium bright character, and moderate sustain. This synthetic calfskin head also features Level 360 Technology.
