Years ago, Steve and Vic solved the age-old problem of wire brushes snagging on new coated heads by slightly angling the wires in the playing end. Steve has refined the design once more with a new angle that allows the wires to better glide across the head, providing a smoother sweep and a velvet swish! Additionally, the retractable pull-rod now includes a third crimp that offers the player an enhanced setting capability.

Featuring a small round bead on the tip of each wire, the Live Wires retractable brush is a revolutionary new brush that allows the player to create much louder brush sounds than ever before! Manufactured with a unique and proprietary method, the bead and wire are produced from a single strand which eliminates parts that could come loose over time. Heavy gauge wire improves the balance and rebound, and smooth rubber makes the handle comfortable and easy to grip. The retractable pull-rod allows for a variety of settings.
Features heavy gauge wires with an added bead on each for more volume and snap around the kit

Rohema JB 1 jazz brush has fine bristles made of metal and a handle made of wood.
We manufacture the handle from high-quality hickory. With a diameter of 14.5 millimeters, it lies comfortably in the hand and feels good. The rubber coating between the wooden handle and the wires is important, especially for accents on the cymbals, which sound less sharp this way.
Small rubber rings can be used to adjust how far the metal wires should be fanned out. The wires are not too stiff, but not too loose either. This results in a warm, mellow sound that is very suitable for Jazz or Latin music.
The wirebrushes JB1 compared to their counterparts with plastic handle have one advantage: they also provide a very nice sound when turning the handle upside down and are thus maximally flexible to use.
Rohema JB 3 brushes have resistant bristles made of nylon. This plastic comes from European manufacturing and has a very smooth surface. It produces rich, low-frequency sounds. Overall, the JB 3 nylon brushes sound a bit bulkier than their metal counterparts with thin wires. The JB 3 brushes' handle is made of durable Hickory and has a diameter of 15.5 millimeters.
Rohema Straw Brushes are a combination of brushes and rods. They are made from bundled European broomcorn, which creates a sound all its own. Straw Brushes create more volume than traditional jazz brushes, but have less attack than rods. Thus, they create a pleasantly light feel on cajon, hi-hat or snare. Thanks to the special handle with ProGrip, the brushes fit comfortably in your hand. The diameter is 21 millimeters, with a length of 360 millimeters.
