The new Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 50s Plain Top has a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top and a mahogany neck with a rounded, 50s Vintage profile with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop™ capacitors. Now available in vivid custom colors, a hardshell case completes the package.

In 1961, the Les Paul™ model was put on hiatus, and an all-new design evolved into what is today known as the SG™ or “solid guitar.” The Gibson SG Standard ‘61 retains the styling of the original featuring a SlimTaper™ mahogany neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard. The mahogany body features deeply sculpted body scarfing, a 5-ply teardrop pickguard, and a 22nd-fret neck joint. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Keystone tuners. The pickups are 60s Burstbucker™ humbuckers™ for a classic voice with added power and top end. Controls feature audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors. A hardshell case is also included.

These exclusive Les Paul Standard 50s models are more subtle than those classic models with figured maple tops while still featuring vibrant sunburst finishes. Paying tribute to the Golden Era of Gibson, this guitar has all the features of a Les Paul that was made in the late 1950s, like a solid mahogany body, a solid maple cap, and two humbucking pickups. Crafted in Nashville, Tennessee, these guitars feature USA-made electronics, solid hardwoods, and classic design details that have stood the test of time.

The Les Paul Standard 50s features a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish that gives it the look and feel of a long-treasured musical companion. It has a solid mahogany body with an AA figured maple top and a rounded 50s-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers. The open-coil Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are hand-wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors.

This early 60s style SG Special has the vibe and sound heard on countless classic rock recordings. The comfortable, SlimTaper™ mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard are well known for fast, effortless playing. The two P-90 pickups are noted for their fat snarl when driven and their smooth sweetness when played clean. The SG Special is equipped with the 3-way toggle switch and has hand-wired controls with Orange Drop® capacitors. A hardshell case is included.

First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the mini humbucker™ to the Les Paul lineup. Mini humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality. The new Deluxe has features that were inspired by those early models from the 1970s, with a non-weight relief mahogany body and bound maple top, a bound mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile, vintage-style Keystone tuners, Graph Tech® nut, and a traditional Les Paul control layout with 2 Volume and 2 Tone controls wired with Orange Drop® capacitors.

The SG Standard ‘61 returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. In 1961, the Les Paul™ model was put on hiatus, and an all-new design evolved into what is today known as the SG™ or “solid guitar.” The Gibson SG Standard ‘61 retains the styling of the legendary original models from the early 1960s. It features a solid mahogany body with the classic double-cutaway SG shape, complete with the iconic deeply sculpted body scarfing and double horns that make this model instantly identifiable. The mahogany neck has a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile and is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays. The fretboard has a 12” radius, so it’s comfortable for first-position chords, and lead lines played higher up the neck won’t fret out. The neck joins the body at the 22nd fret, ensuring easy access to its entire length, making the SG an ideal guitar for lead players. As with the earliest SG models, the SG Standard ’61 features a 5-ply teardrop-shaped pickguard. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece that help contribute to the model’s excellent sustain. The SG Standard ’61 is equipped with smooth-turning Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and has a Graph Tech® nut. The pair ensure rock-solid tuning stability.
