This stop can be "pushed away" by overcoming the adjustable spring tension of the return spring. This means that the tremolo can be moved in both directions - upwards and downwards. The lockable saddles provide better tuning stability, better transmission of string energy and more sustain. The arm is inserted and can be adjusted with a small allen screw.
