EC is one of many series in ESP catalog based on the legendary Gibson designs. EC is based on the single-cut Les Paul concept infused with the standard ESP dose of heaviness. LTD section of the EC series is concentrated on the lower and middle class models and aims at younger players and ambitious amateurs. EC-400 Left Handed is a solid guitar made of mahogany (both the body and neck are made of this exceptionally strong and potent tonewood). Neck is set in and fit with a fast and slim U contour in the back (U contour is ESPs favorite neck shape). Two EMG humbuckers are installed on the top, 81 in the bridge position and 60 in the neck. Mahogany neck features the rosewood fingerboard on its top.
