Epiphone’s long friendship with Mr. Les Paul began in 1940 when Les built one of the world’s first solidbody electric guitars while working nights at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. Les’ first solid body guitar, nicknamed “the Log,” would go on to inspire the Les Paul™ Standard, which many consider the greatest electric guitar ever made. The Les Paul Standard 60s models from the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson™ Collection recreate the look, feel, and sound of the early 1960s-era Les Pauls. They feature a mahogany body with a maple cap, and the models with translucent finishes have an added AAA flame maple veneer visible through the finish for that classic “flame top” look. The mahogany neck sports a laurel fretboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a fast-playing 60s SlimTaper™ profile. The headstock is equipped with quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines and a Graph Tech® nut for rock-solid tuning stability, so you can spend more time playing and less time tuning. The Les Paul Standard 60s is powered by a perfectly balanced set of Epiphone’s acclaimed Probucker™ pickups, with a Probucker 2 in the neck position and a slightly hotter Probucker 3 in the bridge, and each pickup is wired to its own individual set of volume and tone controls that feature CTS® potentiometers. Available in a variety of attractive finish colors and packaged in a Premium Gig Bag, the Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s is a great way to enjoy an authentic Les Paul playing experience at an accessible price.

The SG Standard ‘61 returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. In 1961, the Les Paul™ model was put on hiatus, and an all-new design evolved into what is today known as the SG™ or “solid guitar.” The Gibson SG Standard ‘61 retains the styling of the legendary original models from the early 1960s. It features a solid mahogany body with the classic double-cutaway SG shape, complete with the iconic deeply sculpted body scarfing and double horns that make this model instantly identifiable. The mahogany neck has a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile and is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays. The fretboard has a 12” radius, so it’s comfortable for first-position chords, and lead lines played higher up the neck won’t fret out. The neck joins the body at the 22nd fret, ensuring easy access to its entire length, making the SG an ideal guitar for lead players. As with the earliest SG models, the SG Standard ’61 features a 5-ply teardrop-shaped pickguard. The nickel-plated hardware includes a classic-style ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece that help contribute to the model’s excellent sustain. The SG Standard ’61 is equipped with smooth-turning Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and has a Graph Tech® nut. The pair ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The pickups are 60s Burstbucker™ humbuckers™ for a classic voice with added power and top end. The 2 volume and 2 tone controls feature audio taper potentiometers and are hand-wired with Orange Drop® capacitors. The controls are capped with black Top Hat knobs. The SG Standard ’61 delivers the legendary SG tone, outstanding playability, and American-made Gibson quality that have made the SG the choice of countless players around the world for decades. A Gibson hardshell case is also included.

The Les Paul Special returns to the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved–shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. Originally introduced in 1955 as a step up from the Les Paul™ Junior, it quickly found favor among players who wanted the straightforward approach of a Junior with added versatility. Decades on, the Les Paul Special remains true to those vintage roots, with a slab mahogany body and single-cutaway design that deliver its unmistakable look and roaring midrange punch.
The solid mahogany neck has a comfortable 50s Vintage profile and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard, offering smooth playability for everything from tasty blues runs to thunderous rock riffs. The 22 medium-jumbo frets and 12” fretboard radius strike the perfect balance between easy chording and hassle-free string bending, with dot inlays that pay homage to the original design. For those craving the distinctive high output of P-90 pickups, the Les Paul Special features a pair of these single-coil wonders—one in the bridge for biting, lead-friendly tones, and one in the neck for a warmer, rounder palette perfect for playing rhythm. Together, they deliver a broad tonal range that’s perfect for classic rock, blues, punk, or any style that benefits from a bit of rawness and plenty of punchy midrange clarity.
A Wraparound bridge anchors the strings for enhanced resonance and sustain, while Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons offer rock-solid stability as well as old-school aesthetic vibes. Volume and tone controls for each pickup, plus a 3-way toggle switch, let you seamlessly blend or isolate pickups to find your sonic sweet spot. Whether you’re a die-hard collector drawn to its storied past or a modern player seeking timeless tone, the Les Paul Special remains the perfect intersection of heritage, simplicity, and versatility—just as Gibson intended over six decades ago.
