Snare Wires

For 14” Snare Drums, 10 Strand.

• This is a very unique 10 strand snare wire design which was suggested originally by Steve Gadd.
• There are five pairs of snare wires with a space between each pair, which allows the wires to pull evenly across the head.
• This configuration applies less damping to the bottom head, so the drum shell can fully 'speak'.
• This special high carbon steel snare wire gives a crisp and responsive sound – it has a distinctive, sharp, signature sound.
• The package includes two (2) snare cords for installation.

The wires are made from high carbon steel which is strong and rigid, and gives a crisp and responsive snare drum sound.

This snare wire has a moderate volume range and decay, and suits any type of music. This snare wire is capable of producing a wide range of sounds.

The package includes two (2) pieces of snare tape for installation.
