The Vintera® II '60s Telecaster® features an alder body and a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard for classic Fender tone that's full of punch and clarity. The early-'60s "C" shape neck is based on a classic '60s profile for an intuitive and inviting feel, while the 7.25" radius fingerboard with vintage-tall frets provides vintage comfort with ample room for big bends and expressive vibrato. The Made in Japan Traditional series was derived by fusing Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetics with sophisticated Japanese craftsmanship. Fender's orthodox DNA is revived with certain Made in Japan quality.

Made in Japan Traditional '50s Telecaster® Limited Run Texas Special adopts a gloss finish basswood body, a Sonic Blue color not found in the regular model, and a Tortoiseshell pickguard. In addition, by adopting Custom Shop Texas Special™ Single-Coil Tele® for the pickup that is the cornerstone of the sound, it outputs a sound with a more powerful midrange.

A 9.5 inch radius "U" shape maple neck equipped with 21 vintage style frets provides classical playability unique to the Traditional series. A vintage-style Sting-Through-Body bridge with 3 brass saddles and original pickups selected for the Traditional series deliver realistic and musical vintage tones. The narrow nut width makes it easy for Japanese players to play. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible answers to player needs are reflected in this series.

The Fender® American Vintage II series presents a remarkably accurate take on the revolutionary designs that altered the course of musical history. Built with period-accurate bodies, necks and hardware, premium finishes and meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.

By 1963, a new combination of tonewoods married the punch and focus of alder with the warmth added by a round-lam rosewood fingerboard, enhancing the signature Tele® twang. Featuring Pure Vintage '63 Telecaster® pickups, triple threaded-steel saddle bridge and a comfortable "C"-shape maple neck, the American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster reproduces the quintessential tone and feel of the original. Characteristic of production in 1963, this Tele features clay dots (narrow-spaced at the 12th fret), a 7.25" radius fingerboard fingerboard and is offered in three colors: Crimson Red Transparent over mahogany and 3-Color Sunburst or Surf Green over alder.

The instruments in the American Vintage II series are direct descendants of the original Fenders: designed for players with a fine appreciation for vintage Fender tone and feel and built with unmatched quality, down to the last screw.
