Evans EQ1 series features a single ply of 10mil film. A fixed internal overtone control ring can hold a removable EQ muffle ring for additional damping. Dry vents around the perimeter of the drum head offer a focused and articulate sound.

Evans EQ1™ Coated White resonant series features a single ply of film with dry-vents to allow air to escape and an internal overtone control ring to focus the resonant tone of any bass drum. The coated surface provides more low register and attack.
