Released in 1988, the Guv'nor set the bar for future generations of distortion pedals. This reissue faithfully recreates the classic sound of The Guv’nor, providing a smooth overdriven sound with a touch of compression. The pedal is housed in a casing that is accurately modelled on the original, from the unique shape right down to the individually coloured control knobs. All that’s missing are the stories collected over 30+ years of use, but that’s where you come in.

The original Shredmaster was our first-ever high-gain pedal and has become synonymous with game-changing music throughout the 90s and beyond. The Pugilist V2 is a distortion pedal like no other, wielding dual independent distortion engines packed inside one chassis to crank out a wealth of thick tones. Each distortion engine can be turned on separately using its designated footswitch and dialed in using its own Gain, Tone and Level controls. This provides two distinctively flavored distortion voices, with Engine A delivering treble-rich lead drive tones and Engine B laying on thick, heavier distortion. The real magic of Pugilist V2 is in the Path switch, which runs the two distortion engines through three different signal paths as they push each other into harmonically rich saturation. The two Series Modes send one circuit into the other for stacking drive tones that can be layered like amp channels, using the footswitches to kick into the next level of cascading distortion. Parallel Mode delivers deep tone-shaping by running the two engines side by side to be blended and balanced using the level controls to create the perfect meld of articulate, chunky distortion. Featuring global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches, conveniently switchable buffered and true bypass modes, and multiswitch enabled footswitches for momentary and latching activation, these ever-sparring distortion circuits knock out huge distortion tones with modern conveniences fit for any board.

The DOD Carcosa Fuzz is a doorway into an alternate fuzz universe, where classic tones of legend coexist with splattered and shattered Pollock abstractions. Combining the Carcosa’s wide-ranging AFTER bias control with two toggle positions creates tones that range from porcine fatness to dessicated shards. This versatility makes the Carcosa Fuzz a good companion for dirty or clean amps. True bypass, tons of output, and the visage of the King in Yellow sets the stage for fuzzy madness. The DOD Carcosa Fuzz has an exaggerated mid-range and treble character that help it stand out in a mix. It has been designed to cut through a dense and heavy band but still have great note articulation with chords. However, when extreme bias (AFTER) ranges are selected many wild and over-the-top sounds are possible.
